Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement

The purpose of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is to restore hormone levels to those seen in youth, thus recovering lost function, and thereby gaining health benefits. The aging process proceeds through several drivers, one of which is the decline of hormones seen in the ’40s and ’50s.

This age-related collapse of ovarian and testicular hormone production results in the symptoms of menopause (and andropause in the case of males).

The decline of hormone production is related to the onset of diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, cancer, and cognitive decline.

Most human hormones are simple molecules that are easy to copy using present-day technology. Pharmaceuticals, not native to the human body, do not have health benefits, are not hormones, and not used.
